Fitter for Bulk Carrier Vessel

Job Description

Global Gateway Crewing Services Inc. is looking for a qualified Fitter to perform mechanical maintenance, repairs, and workshop duties onboard bulk carrier vessels.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Carrying out mechanical repairs and routine maintenance.
• Assisting with pipework, fittings, and component replacement.
• Using workshop tools and equipment safely.
• Supporting inspections and troubleshooting activities.
• Maintaining a safe and orderly work area.

Requirements

• Relevant fitter or mechanical trade qualifications, where applicable.
• Relevant shipboard or industrial experience.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate, as required.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid passport and Seaman’s Book.
