ETO for LPG Tanker Vessel

Job Description

Jebsen PTC Maritime Incorporated is looking for a qualified Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to maintain and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and control systems onboard an LPG tanker.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Maintain and repair electrical and electronic equipment onboard.
• Troubleshoot faults in control systems, motors, generators, and electrical panels.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain records of electrical repairs and equipment condition.
• Follow electrical safety procedures and support emergency preparedness.

Requirements

• Relevant marine electrical experience.
• Valid ETO certificate or qualification appropriate to the vessel and flag requirements.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid seafarer medical fitness certificate.
• Valid passport and Seaman’s Book.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• LPG tanker experience is preferred; any mandatory vessel-specific training must meet company and flag requirements.
