Job Description:
We are currently recruiting an experienced Chief Officer for a CONRO (Container/Roll-on Roll-off) vessel trading worldwide.
The successful candidate will join the vessel between 20 July and 15 August for a 3 ± 1 month contract. We are seeking a qualified Chief Officer with previous RO-RO vessel experience and a strong commitment to safe navigation and cargo operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Assisting the Master in the safe navigation and overall operation of the vessel.
- Managing deck operations, cargo handling, and stability in accordance with company procedures.
- Supervising the deck crew and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Planning and overseeing maintenance of deck equipment and safety appliances.
- Maintaining accurate operational records and ensuring compliance with international maritime standards.
Requirements:
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Valid Chief Officer's License (COC).
- Minimum 24 months of onboard experience in the rank of Chief Officer.
- Previous RO-RO vessel experience is mandatory.
Employment Details:
- Contract Duration: 3 ± 1 months.
- Joining Date: Between 20 July and 15 August.
- Trading Area: Worldwide.
- Salary: USD 8,480 per month.
