Chief Engineer for for VLCC / Aframax / Suezmax / Tanker Vessels

Job Description

Spectrum Marine and Ship Management Inc. is recruiting an experienced Chief Engineer for VLCC, Aframax, and Suezmax tanker vessels for October–November deployment.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Take responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the engine department.
• Supervise engineering crew and machinery maintenance.
• Ensure planned and corrective maintenance is completed.
• Monitor machinery performance and technical condition.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, class, and company requirements.

Requirements

• Valid Chief Engineer CoC and STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Relevant Chief Engineer experience on tanker vessels.
• VLCC, Aframax, or Suezmax experience as applicable.
• Good English communication skills.
• Valid seafarer documents.
