Job Description

Global Gateway Crewing Services Inc. is recruiting an experienced Chief Engineer to manage the engine department and ensure the safe and efficient operation of all machinery onboard a bulk carrier.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Supervising the engine department and assigning duties to engineering personnel.
  • Managing the operation and maintenance of main and auxiliary machinery.
  • Planning preventive maintenance and coordinating repairs.
  • Monitoring machinery performance, fuel consumption, and technical records.
  • Ensuring compliance with engine room safety and environmental regulations.

Requirements

  • Valid Chief Engineer’s Certificate of Competency.
  • Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
  • Relevant experience as Chief Engineer, preferably on bulk carriers.
  • Proficiency in English communication.
  • Valid passport and Seaman’s Book.
