Job Description:
Arjuna Samudera Indonesia is urgently recruiting an experienced Bosun to join a Bulk Carrier Vessel. Candidates with previous Bulk Carrier experience are welcome. The successful candidate will supervise and participate in deck operations, coordinate deck crew activities, and ensure that maintenance and operational tasks are carried out safely and efficiently.
Experience working with mixed-nationality crews and strong professional English communication skills are required.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Supervising and coordinating daily deck crew activities.
- Assisting with mooring, anchoring, cargo, and general deck operations.
- Organizing and carrying out deck maintenance and repair work.
- Ensuring proper use and maintenance of deck equipment.
- Promoting safe working practices and effective communication among mixed-nationality crew members.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Bosun.
- Bulk Carrier Vessel experience is welcome.
- Experience working with mixed-nationality crews.
- Good command of English with strong professional communication skills.
- All traveling documents valid for a minimum of 18 months.
- All STCW certificates valid for a minimum of 12 months.
- SID preferable.
- Valid US Visa required.
