OS for VLCC Tanker Vessel

Job Description

Jebsen PTC Maritime is recruiting an experienced Ordinary Seaman (OS) for a Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC). The successful candidate will support the deck department with routine maintenance, mooring, cargo support, and other assigned deck operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with mooring and anchoring operations.
• Supporting deck maintenance and housekeeping.
• Assisting senior deck crew during cargo and deck operations.
• Handling ropes, tools, and deck equipment safely.
• Following VLCC safety and environmental procedures.

Requirements

• Previous OS experience on VLCC or relevant tanker vessels.
• Minimum 12 months of experience in rank.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid US Visa preferred.
• Proficiency in English communication.
