OS for Bulk Carrier Vessel

Job Description:

Global Gateway Crewing Services Inc. is recruiting an Ordinary Seaman (OS) to join a Bulk Carrier vessel. The successful candidate will assist the deck department with routine maintenance, cleaning, mooring operations, cargo-related activities, and other duties assigned by the deck officers and Bosun.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with cleaning, painting, chipping, and general deck maintenance.
• Assist during mooring and anchoring operations.
• Support cargo operations and other deck activities.
• Maintain deck areas and equipment in safe and clean condition.
• Follow all onboard safety procedures and instructions.

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates.
• Medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Previous sea service experience is preferred.
• Experience on bulk carriers is an advantage.
