Location: Oman (International Trading Area)
Job Description:
A shipping company is currently accepting applications for several crew positions onboard Oil / Chemical Tanker vessels operating in the Oman trading area. These vessels are engaged in the transportation of petroleum and chemical cargo, requiring strict adherence to international maritime safety and environmental regulations.
The company is looking for motivated crew members who can support daily vessel operations, cargo handling procedures, and onboard maintenance tasks.
Candidates who are available for upcoming joining windows and have previous tanker or merchant vessel experience are encouraged to apply.
Available Positions
- Ordinary Seaman (OS) – USD 1,300
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Supporting safe navigation and vessel operations
- Assisting with cargo handling and deck maintenance tasks
- Performing routine maintenance and operational duties according to assigned rank
- Ensuring compliance with maritime safety procedures and company policies
Requirements:
- Valid STCW certificates
- Medical fitness certificate
- Proficiency in English communication
- Previous tanker or merchant vessel experience preferred
- Relevant seafarer documents valid for the duration of the contract
Employment Details:
- Contract Duration: 6 Months
- Joining Date: Beginning and End of May / End of June
- Salary: As indicated per rank above
