AB for Oil / Chemical Tanker Vessel

Job Description

Global Gateway Crewing Services Inc. is recruiting an Able Seaman for an Oil/Chemical MR Tanker. The AB will support deck operations, mooring, maintenance, cargo-related activities, and safe navigation duties as assigned by the deck officers.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with mooring, anchoring and deck operations.
• Perform routine deck maintenance, cleaning, painting and preservation.
• Assist during cargo operations and safety drills.
• Maintain deck equipment and participate in inspections.
• Follow all vessel safety and environmental procedures.

Requirements

• Valid AB certification and STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid seafarer documents.
• Relevant experience as an Able Seaman.
• Oil/Chemical tanker experience is an advantage.
