AB for LPG Tanker Vessel

Job Description

Jebsen PTC Maritime Incorporated is inviting applications from qualified Able Seamen to join an LPG tanker. The successful candidate will perform deck duties, assist with mooring operations, and support safe cargo-related activities as directed by the deck officers.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform routine deck maintenance and preservation.
• Assist with mooring, anchoring, and other deck operations.
• Support cargo operations in accordance with vessel procedures and training.
• Maintain deck equipment and ensure safe working conditions.
• Participate in emergency drills and follow onboard safety procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Able Seafarer Deck Certificate of Proficiency.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid seafarer medical fitness certificate.
• Valid passport and Seaman’s Book.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Relevant sea service as an Able Seaman; tanker experience and required tanker familiarization training should meet company and flag requirements.
