Job Description:
MA Ships Philippines Inc. is urgently seeking an experienced Able Seaman (AB) to join an international container vessel. The company is looking for qualified candidates with proven container vessel experience who are committed to maintaining safe deck operations and supporting the efficient performance of the vessel during international voyages.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform deck maintenance, mooring, anchoring, and cargo operations.
Assist with navigation watchkeeping and safe vessel operations.
Maintain deck equipment and safety gear in good working condition.
Comply with company safety procedures and international maritime regulations.
Support emergency response and other onboard operational activities.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates.
Medical fitness certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
Previous experience as an Able Seaman (AB) on international container vessels is required.
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book.
