4th Engineer for Bulk Carrier Vessel

Job Description

MAR AQUALINK MARITIME, INC. is hiring five Fourth Engineers for bulk carrier vessels operating worldwide. Applicants must have at least 12 months of experience in their current rank and possess valid seafarer documentation.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with engine-room watchkeeping and machinery inspections.
• Perform routine maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Support engineers with repairs and planned maintenance.
• Follow onboard safety and environmental procedures.
• Maintain assigned engine-room records and report defects.

Requirements

• Appropriate Fourth Engineer’s Certificate of Competency.
• At least 12 months of experience in the present rank.
• Valid and available seafarer documents.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Willingness to join as soon as possible.
• Experience with a mixed Chinese crew may be relevant to the assignment.
