Position: 3rd Engineer

Vessel Type: VLOC (Very Large Ore Carrier)

Job Description:
The 3rd Engineer assists in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel’s engine room systems and machinery. Responsibilities include conducting routine maintenance and repair work under the supervision of senior engineers, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and contributing to the overall performance of the engineering team.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain engine room systems and auxiliary machinery
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections
• Support senior engineers during operations and repairs
• Comply with ISM and MARPOL standards
• Ensure safe and efficient engine room operations

Requirements:

• Valid STCW and Training Certificates
• Seaman’s Book, Passport, and valid Medical Certificate (Philhealth MDR)
• Relevant onboard experience on similar vessel type
• Preferably with valid U.S. Visa
• Work experience not older than 1 year
