Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Indonesian Second Engineer to support the Chief Engineer in managing the vessel's engine department. Applicants must have relevant experience in the same rank and vessel type, with the technical knowledge required to maintain safe and efficient machinery operations.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assisting the Chief Engineer in managing engine-room operations.
• Supervising maintenance and repair of assigned machinery.
• Monitoring machinery performance and coordinating troubleshooting.
• Supporting preventive maintenance planning and spare-parts management.
• Supervising engine-room personnel when assigned.
• Maintaining technical records and complying with onboard safety procedures.

Requirements

• Indonesian nationality.
• Valid Second Engineer Certificate of Competency and relevant STCW 2010 certificates.
• All documents and certificates valid for at least 18 months.
• Experience as Second Engineer on the same vessel type.
• Minimum 36 months of foreign-going vessel experience.
• Experience working with multinational crews.
• Good English communication and teamwork skills.
• Medical fitness for sea service.

Employment Details

• Salary: USD 7,500 per month.
