2nd Engineer for Tanker Vessel

Job Description

Westminster Seafarer Management Philippines, Inc. is recruiting a qualified Second Engineer to assist the Chief Engineer in supervising engine room operations and maintaining the vessel’s machinery and technical systems.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Supervising assigned engine room personnel and daily operations.
• Maintaining and troubleshooting main and auxiliary machinery.
• Coordinating preventive maintenance and repair activities.
• Monitoring machinery performance and maintaining technical records.
• Ensuring compliance with engine room safety and environmental procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Second Engineer’s Certificate of Competency appropriate to the vessel and flag.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
• Relevant experience on tanker vessels.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid passport and Seaman’s Book.
• Tanker-specific qualifications and endorsements as required by the employer.
