Job Description:
On behalf of our client, GRN Drilling is recruiting an experienced Motorman to join an offshore installation. The successful candidate will support engine room operations, machinery maintenance, and technical activities onboard while ensuring safe and efficient operation of vessel systems.
Due to the installation location, only candidates who are currently residing in the UK and able to travel easily will be considered.
Operation Type: Offshore Installation
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist engineers with engine room operations and maintenance
Carry out inspections and routine checks of machinery
Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities
Maintain engine room cleanliness and safe working conditions
Follow offshore safety procedures and company HSE requirements
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book
Previous experience as Motorman required
Offshore installation / vessel experience preferred
UK residency and ability to travel easily required
Good English communication skills
