Worldwide Recruitment Solutions are looking for a HSE Manager for our client in Ghana. The client operates a fleet of Offshore Vessels. Previous experience working in an office based role as a HSE Manager preferred. -HSE specialist with extensive experience in the Energy Services / Oil & Gas and / or Maritime Industry • Coordinates and conducts work area assessment, surveys, and program evaluations to determine the presence of hazardous conditions • Advise and give input to the preparation of the Project HSE plan to be prepared as part of the Contract for submission and approval by Company • Review and update institutional HSE policies and conduct risk assessments to detect potential hazards and plan precautionary measures • Maintain an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge and preparedness across the organization, HSE managers coordinate training programs for employees • Investigates incidents, establish causes and recommend preventive action against a recurrence • Ensure that workplace tools and equipment meet industry standards and installed properly according to regulations • Prepare monthly reports and make presentations to management • Support the various product Chief Engineers in carrying out the HAZCON risk assessment process • Monitor the effectiveness of Contractor HSE Personnel and training providing support and improvement initiatives where required • Ensure that all incidents are appropriately investigated and that injury case management is administered to minimize loss
