Job Description:
National Marine Dredging Company (NMDC) is recruiting an experienced Mechanic Foreman to supervise mechanical maintenance and repair activities within its marine operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Supervising mechanics and coordinating daily maintenance and repair activities.
- Allocating tasks and monitoring work quality and completion.
- Troubleshooting mechanical equipment and supporting complex repairs.
- Ensuring tools, machinery and workshop activities comply with safety requirements.
- Coordinating with engineers and other departments to maintain operational readiness.
Requirements:
- Relevant technical qualifications
- Proven experience as a Mechanic / Mechanic Foreman
- Marine industry experience preferred
- Strong mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting skills
- Previous experience with marine vessels, dredgers or support craft is an advantage
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow technical procedures and HSE requirements
