Job Description
WTS Energy is recruiting three Floormen for offshore drilling operations.
The successful candidates will assist with rig-floor activities, drilling equipment handling, and the preparation and maintenance of operational equipment. Previous offshore drilling experience and valid Well Control certification are required for these positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with rig-floor operations and equipment handling.
- Support the preparation, assembly, and maintenance of drilling equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe rig-floor working area.
- Follow instructions from the Driller and senior rig personnel.
- Inspect assigned tools and equipment and report defects.
- Participate in toolbox talks, safety briefings, and emergency drills.
- Comply with drilling procedures and offshore HSE requirements.
Requirements
- Relevant experience as a Floorman or in a comparable rig-floor position.
- Previous offshore drilling experience preferred.
- Valid Well Control certification – mandatory.
- Mexican or foreign Seaman's Book.
- Valid passport.
- Valid OGUK medical certificate.
- Valid TBOSIET certificate.
- Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate.
- Conversational English.
- Knowledge of drilling equipment, rig-floor procedures, and safe working practices.
- Availability for offshore employment.
