Location: United States – Offshore
Job Description:
Responsible for engine room operations and maintaining vessel systems during assigned watches. Ensures mechanical safety, troubleshooting, and efficiency of all onboard machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct engine room watchkeeping duties.
• Perform troubleshooting on engines and auxiliary systems.
• Record daily operational logs and report irregularities.
• Supervise oilers and assist engineers as required.
Requirements:
• Valid U.S. Coast Guard license (DDE / 3rd Assistant Engineer or higher).
• Minimum 3 years of sea time.
• Familiarity with diesel propulsion and hydraulic systems.
Employment Details:
• Rotation: 6 weeks on / 3 weeks off
