Electrician for 7th Generation Drillship

Job Description:

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our clients for the following offshore position on a 7th Generation Drillship. Mobilisation is ASAP for a 4–6 week hitch (one hitch) .

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy and position, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

· Maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment on the drillship
· Routine inspection and testing of electrical panels, switchboards, and emergency systems
· Compliance with all safety management systems, permit-to-work procedures, and HSEQ requirements
· Coordination with the ETO and engineering team regarding electrical maintenance and system performance
· Maintenance of electrical logs, records, and documentation

Requirements:

Essential Requirements:

· Valid Electrician qualifications and certifications
· Valid STCW certificates as applicable
· Valid BOSIET / FOET with CA-EBS (preferred)
· Valid Medical Certificate (offshore / OGUK or equivalent)
· Valid Seaman's Book and Passport
· Proficiency in English communication (verbal and written)
· Experience: Previous experience on drillships, semi-submersible rigs, or similar offshore units
· Availability: Must be available for ASAP mobilisation for 4–6 weeks (one hitch)
