Job Description:
An offshore client is seeking an experienced Assistant Driller to join operations onboard a jack-up drilling unit in the Netherlands. The role involves supporting drilling activities, ensuring safe and efficient operations, and assisting the Driller in managing rig floor operations. Candidates must be available for immediate deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assist the Driller in daily drilling operations
• Supervise and coordinate rig floor crew activities
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies and safety procedures
• Monitor drilling parameters and equipment performance
• Support maintenance and operational readiness of drilling systems
Requirements:
• Proven experience as Assistant Driller offshore
• Valid offshore certifications (e.g. BOSIET/FOET, IWCF/IADC)
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Experience on jack-up drilling units preferred
