Atlas Professionals are recruiting an experienced Dynamic Positioning Operator (DPO) to join a Semi-Submersible Offshore Unit operating in Norway.
This is a short-term offshore assignment starting from 28 January with a contract duration of 2 weeks.
The DPO will be responsible for safe DP operations, maintaining vessel position during offshore activities, and ensuring compliance with DP and safety procedures in a high-standard North Sea offshore environment.

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Conducting DP watchkeeping in accordance with company and IMCA guidelines
• Maintaining vessel position during offshore and marine operations
• Monitoring DP systems and reporting any alarms or irregularities immediately
• Ensuring DP logs, checklists, and records are accurately maintained
• Participating in safety drills, toolbox talks, and operational briefings

• Valid STCW Certificate of Competency (as applicable)
• Valid DP Certificate (Unlimited / Full DP)
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Good English communication skills
• Previous experience as DPO on Semi-Submersible units preferred
• Valid passport and seaman’s book
