Assistant Derrickman for Offshore Drilling Platform (North Sea)

Job Description:

Drillmar Resources is recruiting an Assistant Derrickman to mobilise to a platform in the UK North Sea ASAP for 2-3 weeks. Candidates must have previous offshore experience in the role of Assistant Derrickman and be in possession of the minimum certifications listed below.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy and position, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

· Assisting the Derrickman and Driller with drilling operations
· Maintaining and inspecting drilling fluid systems, shale shakers, and related equipment
· Climbing the derrick to perform maintenance and assist with pipe handling
· Ensuring compliance with all safety management systems and well control procedures
· Participating in safety drills and emergency response activities

Requirements:

Essential Experience & Certifications:

· Previous offshore experience in the role of Assistant Derrickman – mandatory
· OPITO Approved Survival (BOSIET / FOET + CA-EBS) – mandatory
· OGUK Medical + Bideltoid Shoulder Measurements – mandatory
· MIST (Minimum Industry Standard Training) – mandatory
· WAH – Unit 2 (Working at Height – preferable)
· Valid STCW certificates as applicable
· Valid Seaman's Book and Passport
· Proficiency in English communication (verbal and written)
· Availability: Must be available to mobilise ASAP for 2-3 weeks
