Job Description:

Atlas Professionals are recruiting an Assistant Crane Operator (ACO) to join a Jack-Up offshore unit operating in the Netherlands.
This is a short-term offshore assignment starting from 27 January for a duration of 2 weeks.

The role supports offshore lifting and crane operations on a jack-up unit, requiring strict adherence to safety procedures, lifting plans, and operational standards. The successful candidate will work closely with the Crane Operator and deck team to ensure safe and efficient lifting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting with offshore crane and lifting operations onboard the jack-up unit
• Supporting the Crane Operator during lifts in accordance with lifting plans and procedures
• Conducting pre-use checks and basic maintenance of lifting equipment
• Ensuring compliance with HSE requirements, permit-to-work systems, and offshore regulations
• Participating in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and offshore drills

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates appropriate to the applied position
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Previous experience as ACO on Jack-Up or offshore units preferred
• Relevant crane / lifting certifications as per offshore requirements
