Job Description

WTS Energy is seeking an Assistant Electrician to support electrical maintenance activities on offshore platforms and barges during night shifts.

The candidate will assist senior electrical personnel with inspections, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs while following established safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with inspection and maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Support troubleshooting and repairs under the direction of senior electricians.
• Prepare tools and materials for electrical maintenance tasks.
• Help identify and report electrical defects.
• Maintain safe and organized work areas.
• Follow electrical isolation procedures and site safety requirements.

Requirements

• Relevant electrical maintenance experience or technical training.
• Offshore platform or barge experience preferred.
• Mexican or foreign Seaman's Book.
• SST medical examination.
• Basic Offshore Platforms and Barges Course.
• Valid TBOSIET certificate.
• Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate.
• Conversational English.
• Understanding of electrical safety procedures.
• Availability for night-shift work.
