Job Description:

A cruise ship operator is seeking an organized Assistant Storekeeper to support inventory control and onboard supply operations. The successful candidate will assist with receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking supplies to ensure departments have the materials needed for daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with the receipt and inspection of incoming supplies.
• Organizing storage areas and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Issuing supplies to departments according to approved procedures.
• Monitoring stock levels, expiry dates, and storage conditions.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized storeroom.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant storekeeping, inventory, or warehouse experience.
• Previous cruise or passenger vessel experience preferred.
• Relevant inventory or logistics training, where applicable.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate, where required.
• Good English communication and basic record-keeping skills.
• Reliability, attention to detail, and teamwork abilities.
