Location: Europe / Passenger Ferry Operations
Job Description:
OSM Thome is recruiting an experienced Motorman / Oiler to join a passenger ferry trading in European waters. The successful candidate will be part of the engine room team, supporting the safe and efficient operation of all machinery. This role requires hands-on technical support, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work effectively in a busy ferry environment with frequent port calls.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting engineers in daily engine room operations
• Carrying out routine watchkeeping duties and machinery checks
• Performing oiling, greasing, and cleaning of machinery and equipment
• Supporting planned maintenance activities and basic repairs
• Following safety procedures and maintaining clean and orderly engine spaces

Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
• Previous experience as Motorman / Oiler, preferably on passenger or ferry vessels
• Proficiency in English communication
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work as part of a team
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced engine room environment
