Position: Second Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) – Cruise Ship
Job Description:
A cruise ship operator is seeking a qualified Second Electro-Technical Officer to support the maintenance and operation of the vessel’s electrical, electronic, automation, and control systems. The successful candidate will help ensure reliable technical performance and compliance with onboard safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and electronic equipment.
- Assisting with inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
- Monitoring automation, control, and power distribution equipment.
- Recording maintenance activities and reporting technical issues.
- Supporting safe vessel operations and complying with company procedures.

Requirements:
- Relevant electro-technical qualifications and certificates.
- Valid STCW certificates and Seaman’s Book.
- Valid medical fitness certificate in accordance with applicable STCW standards.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in the same position or on a similar vessel.
- Previous cruise or passenger vessel experience preferred.
- Proficiency in English communication.
