Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Sole Engineer for a 35m+ sail yacht. The yacht operates privately, offering world-cruising opportunities. Currently located in New Zealand, the yacht will spend the next 6 months in Auckland followed by a season in the French Polynesia region with the Owners. The Captain has been onboard for 8 years with the same Owners. As the ideal candidate, you should possess strong sailing and engineering experience aboard sailing vessels of similar size or larger. Your primary responsibility will involve managing the engineering department, while also assisting wherever needed onboard. The position presents a fantastic opportunity to join an active, young and dynamic team of 4/5 who have a strong passion for sailing and exploring off the beaten track destinations. The yacht is maintained to a high standard, and as the Engineer in remote locations, you’ll have strong support through designated personnel ashore.
