Job Description:

Phoenix Yacht Management is seeking an experienced and highly professional Captain to join a well-maintained 55m commercially registered motor yacht with an established and professional crew.

The vessel operates a dynamic private and commercial program across Turkey, the Red Sea, UAE, and the Mediterranean, supporting an active Owner and a varied operational schedule.

The ideal candidate will be a positive, energetic, and outgoing leader with proven experience commanding a 50m+ motor yacht. The Captain should be comfortable leading the entire vessel, working closely with all departments, and delivering safe, efficient operations and exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

As per yacht/company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

•  Taking overall command and responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the yacht. 
•  Leading, managing, and motivating the professional onboard crew. 
•  Working closely with all Heads of Department to coordinate successful vessel operations. 
•  Ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, professionalism, and guest service. 
•  Supporting charter operations and providing an exceptional experience for the Owner and guests. 
•  Maintaining a positive, collaborative, and professional onboard working environment. 
•  Being hands-on and actively involved in vessel operations when required. 

Requirements:

• Master 3000 license as a minimum. 
•  Proven command experience on a 50m+ motor yacht, preferably of similar size. 
•  Demonstrated longevity in previous yacht positions. 
•  Strong charter yacht experience. 
•  Commercially registered yacht experience is highly desirable. 
•  Excellent leadership and crew management skills. 
•  Positive, energetic, outgoing, and flexible personality. 
•  Strong guest-facing and service-oriented approach. 
•  Ability to work closely with all departments and support the vessel as a complete team. 
•  High standards of safety, professionalism, and operational discipline. 
•  Valid STCW certificates and medical certification. 
•  Excellent English communication skills.

• Salary: €13,000 per month
