Messman for LPG Vessel

Job Description

Jebsen PTC Maritime Incorporated is recruiting a Messman to assist with catering and housekeeping duties onboard an LPG tanker. The successful candidate will help maintain clean accommodation and mess areas and support the catering team in providing services to the crew.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Clean and maintain mess rooms, crew accommodation, and assigned common areas.
• Assist with meal service and galley support duties.
• Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness of dining and service areas.
• Assist with storing and handling provisions as instructed.
• Follow onboard hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Messman or in a similar shipboard catering role is an advantage.
• Valid STCW certificates as required for the position.
• Valid seafarer medical fitness certificate.
• Valid passport and Seaman’s Book.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Good knowledge of housekeeping, sanitation, and personal hygiene.
• Ability to work cooperatively with the catering team and other crew members.
