Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Messman to join an LNG Tanker. Candidates must have previous experience in the same rank and on the same vessel type and be able to support the vessel’s catering and housekeeping operations.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with meal service and mess-room operations.
• Maintaining cleanliness of accommodation, mess areas, and assigned spaces.
• Assisting the Cook with food preparation and kitchen duties.
• Washing dishes and maintaining kitchen and dining areas.
• Following onboard hygiene, safety, and housekeeping standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience as Messman on LNG Tankers is mandatory.
• Updated BST in accordance with MSC.560.
• All documents and certificates must be valid for more than 18 months.
• Good knowledge and fluent English.
• Valid medical and seafarer documentation.
