Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Chief Steward to join a SCOV DP2 vessel operating in the North Sea. The contract duration is 8 weeks with a planned joining date on 10th May. The role involves managing catering and accommodation services onboard, ensuring high standards of hygiene, food quality, and crew welfare in offshore conditions. Wages are negotiable depending on experience and qualifications. Only EU nationals holding a valid UK work permit or Ukrainian nationals under UK protection status will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Managing galley operations and supervising catering staff
• Planning menus and ensuring proper provisioning of food supplies
• Maintaining hygiene and sanitation standards onboard
• Overseeing accommodation cleanliness and crew welfare services
• Ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations

Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• EU nationals with valid UK Work Permit or Ukrainian nationals under UK protection status
• Minimum 12 months of experience as Chief Steward on similar vessels
• Ship’s Steward License
• HUET with CA-EBS certification
