Job Description:
We are currently looking for an experienced Chief Steward to join a DP2 Service/Support Offshore Vessel (SCOV) operating in the North Sea. The contract duration is 8 weeks with an expected joining date of 10th May. The role involves managing galley and catering services onboard, ensuring high standards of hygiene, food preparation, and crew welfare in offshore conditions. Salary is negotiable depending on experience. The position is open to EU nationals holding a valid UK work permit or Ukrainian candidates with UK protection status.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Managing galley operations and supervising catering staff
• Planning menus, provisioning, and food preparation
• Ensuring compliance with hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards
• Maintaining inventory and controlling food supplies onboard

Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Only EU Nationals with valid UK Work Permit or Ukrainian candidates under UK protection status
• Minimum 12 months experience as Chief Steward on similar DP2/SCOV vessels
• Ship’s Steward License
• HUET with CA-EBS certification
