Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
· Preparing daily meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) for the ship's crew according to menus and dietary requirements.
· Maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation in all galley areas.
· Managing inventory, storage, and provisioning for the galley department.
· Operating and maintaining galley equipment safely and efficiently.
· Supervising and training junior galley staff (for senior positions like JR Sous Chef).

Requirements:
· Valid STCW certificates, including Basic Safety Training and Proficiency in Survival Craft.
· Valid seafarer's medical fitness certificate.
· Culinary diploma or relevant certification from a recognized institution.
· Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a ship galley, hotel, or restaurant.
· Proficiency in English communication for effective teamwork and understanding instructions.
· Knowledge of international cuisine and ability to cater to diverse tastes.
