Job Description
DMC Offshore is urgently recruiting experienced Catering Crew for an upcoming Jack-Up Drilling Rig project in Croatia.
We are looking for reliable, motivated, and safety-conscious candidates to support onboard catering, food preparation, laundry, and housekeeping operations. Applicants with relevant offshore, maritime, industrial catering, or remote-site hospitality experience are encouraged to apply.
The successful candidates will help maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, accommodation services, and crew welfare throughout the offshore assignment.

Key Responsibilities
Cook
- Prepare and serve meals for offshore personnel.
- Plan menus and accommodate dietary requirements where practicable.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the galley and food-preparation areas.
- Manage food provisions, storage, and stock rotation.
- Ensure safe food handling and follow food-safety procedures.
Assistant Cook
- Assist the Cook with daily meal preparation and galley operations.
- Prepare ingredients and support meal service.
- Clean galley equipment, utensils, and food-preparation areas.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and organising provisions.
- Follow food hygiene and sanitation procedures.
Baker
- Prepare bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods.
- Follow recipes and maintain consistent product quality.
- Operate baking equipment safely.
- Monitor baking ingredients and supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and food-safety standards in the baking area.
Steward
- Assist with meal service and onboard hospitality operations.
- Prepare dining areas and maintain clean, organised mess rooms.
- Serve meals, clear tables, and assist with dishwashing.
- Support general catering and housekeeping duties as required.
- Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards.
Laundryman
- Manage daily laundry operations for uniforms, clothing, towels, and linen.
- Sort garments according to fabric type and care requirements.
- Operate washing machines, dryers, irons, and other laundry equipment safely.
- Wash, dry, iron, fold, and distribute laundry.
- Maintain a clean and organised laundry room.
Cleaning Steward
- Clean and maintain assigned accommodation, offices, mess rooms, and communal areas.
- Follow cleaning schedules and maintain high standards of hygiene.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and report shortages.
- Use cleaning products and equipment safely.
- Report maintenance issues and unsafe conditions.
- Comply with onboard housekeeping and HSE procedures.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in the position applied for.
- Previous offshore, maritime, industrial catering, or remote-site hospitality experience preferred.
- Relevant cooking, baking, food hygiene, laundry, or housekeeping skills appropriate to the role.
- Valid food-safety or professional catering certificates, where required.
- Valid offshore safety training and medical certification, where required by the project.
- Valid STCW certificates and maritime documentation where applicable to the assigned position.
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong awareness of food hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety.
- Reliable, organised, and able to work effectively as part of an international team.
- Croatian candidates are particularly encouraged to apply.

- Availability for immediate mobilisation and the full 60–90-day assignment.
