Position: Night Cook

Location: United Kingdom / Offshore (Outside 12NM Zone)

Job Description:

Worldwide Recruitment Solutions (WRS) is seeking an experienced Night Cook to join a Small Survey Vessel operating offshore in the UK. The assignment is scheduled to start on 25th February for a duration of 4–8 weeks. The role involves preparing meals, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting the catering needs of the vessel’s crew during night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Preparing and serving meals for the vessel’s crew during night shifts
• Managing galley operations, including cleaning, storage, and inventory control
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and offshore safety regulations
• Maintaining galley and food storage areas in a clean and organized manner
• Supporting vessel operations by providing reliable catering services

Requirements:

• Valid Cook Certificate of Competency (CoC)
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid Passport
• Valid Seaman’s Book
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
• Previous offshore or survey vessel catering experience preferred
• Good English communication skills
