Job Description:
We are urgently looking for an experienced Cook to join a Split Hopper Barge in the UK. The vessel has a POB (Persons on Board) of 9-10. The start date is 25th April with a duration of 6 weeks and the possibility of extension. A UK Frontier Work Permit is a must. If you are interested, please reach out.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy and position, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
· Preparation and cooking of daily meals for crew (9-10 persons)
· Maintaining hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards in the galley and mess areas
· Management of food stock, provisions, and storage onboard
· Compliance with all safety management systems, catering policies, and health regulations
· Menu planning and accommodation of dietary requirements as needed

Requirements:
· Valid STCW documentation as applicable
· UK Frontier Work Permit – a must
· Valid passport
· Medical Seafarer certificate (ENG1 or equivalent)
· Cook Certificate of Competence (Ships Cook CoC)
· Hygiene certificate (Food Hygiene Level 2 or equivalent)
· Seaman's Book
· Proficiency in English communication (verbal and written)
· Experience: Proven experience as Cook on barges, offshore vessels, or similar
· Availability: Must be available to start on 25th April
