Job Description:
PT. Galang Merin Servis is recruiting an experienced AB Cook to join an ASD Tug Vessel operating in Bahrain. The successful candidate will perform combined deck and catering duties, supporting vessel operations, crew welfare, and onboard safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform Able Seaman deck duties and vessel maintenance activities
Assist with mooring, towing, and deck operations
Prepare meals and manage galley operations onboard
Maintain food hygiene and cleanliness standards
Support safe and efficient tug vessel operations
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates (minimum validity 12 months)
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book
Rating as Able Seaman certificate
Ship’s Cook Certificate required
Previous experience as AB Cook preferred
Minimum 24 months experience in the same rank
Experience on ASD Tug Vessel preferred
Fluent English communication skills
