Location: North Sea
Job Description:
We are looking for a Chief Cook for an OSV DP2 vessel operating in the North Sea. Contract duration is 4–6 weeks, with joining on 14 January. A valid UK Work Permit is mandatory for consideration. Candidates must hold a Ship’s Cook License and have at least 12 months of experience onboard similar vessel types working in the rank of Chief Cook. Responsibilities include full galley management, food preparation, menu planning, and compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Preparing meals for crew and officers according to dietary and nutritional standards
• Planning menus and managing food provisions
• Ensuring galley cleanliness and compliance with hygiene regulations
• Overseeing galley assistants and maintaining inventory control
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Ship’s Cook License
• Minimum 12 months experience as Chief Cook on similar vessels
• Valid UK Work Permit
• Proficiency in English communication

• Salary: 250 EUR/day
