Chief Cook for Oil / Chemical Tanker Vessel

Job Description

Global Gateway Crewing Services Inc. is inviting applications from experienced Chief Cooks to manage onboard catering and provide meals for the vessel’s crew.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Plan and prepare daily meals for the crew.
• Manage galley supplies, food storage, and inventory.
• Maintain galley cleanliness and food-hygiene standards.
• Monitor food quality and minimize food waste.
• Follow onboard health, safety, and sanitation procedures.

Requirements

• Relevant experience as a Chief Cook or Ship’s Cook.
• Valid food-hygiene or food-safety certification, where required.
• Valid medical fitness certificate and applicable seafarer documents.
• Proficiency in English communication.
