Chief Cook for Oil / Chemical Tanker Vessel

Job Description

Global Gateway Crewing Services Inc. is seeking a Chief Cook for an Oil/Chemical MR Tanker. The Chief Cook will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals for the crew, managing galley operations and maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness onboard.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Prepare daily meals for the crew according to approved menus.
• Plan meals and manage food provisions efficiently.
• Maintain galley equipment and working areas.
• Ensure proper food storage, hygiene and sanitation.
• Monitor food stocks and minimize waste.

Requirements

• Valid Ships Cook / Chief Cook certification as applicable.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid seafarer documents.
• Relevant shipboard Chief Cook experience.
• Previous tanker experience is an advantage.
